In the general buzz and excitement at the end of the concert the chattering seabirds all agreed that it was a very good concert spoiled, in part, by that large unconventional looking Puffin which was also very rude pushing its way to the front of the concert like that.
As the seabirds steadily but noisily began to make their way home, two late arriving Cormorants landed in the sea and on hearing the tale of the odd Puffin, told a tale of their own. How they had just seen such a large seabird, being lifted aboard a mysterious boat, that was anchored on the blind side of the island of Soay.
At this Fussypuss the Puffin’s ears pricked up, he called over his friends Tarbert and Paisley. After a short but energetic discussion, they set off to investigate the mystery.
