Ingredients for Witch Wardle<\/h2>\n\n- Wonder Custard<\/a> (be sure not to use Cackle Custard as this will attract the bad witches).<\/li>\n
- Truth Tonic<\/a> (Two Glugs).<\/li>\n
- Cave Silence<\/a> (Five pips).<\/li>\n
- Screaming Marmalade (Two teaspoons).<\/li>\n
- Warding Twigs (Three, but to be on the safe side throw in six).<\/li>\n
- Twinckle Pepper and Shimmer Salt<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Crab Dandy (One Flitch and no more).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Method<\/h2>\n
Gently torment a pan of Wonder Custard<\/a> and when bubbling fold in two glugs of Truth Tonic<\/a>, with a Tipsy Spoon. Throw into the pan five drips of Cave Silence<\/a>.
\nIf you throw in four, Halloween will be very noisy and if you throw in six, Halloween will be very quiet. I find that five is just right.
\nStir with your Tipsy Spoon and then leave to rest for 10 minutes.<\/p>\nInto another bowl, break up into a fine powder, three warding twigs if they are large or six if they are small.
\nTumble in a flitch of fresh Crab Dandy or a flitch and a half if it is more than two days old.
\nChuck in two teaspoons of Screaming Marmalade. Using a Turbulence Trowel and a Fletching Fork upset the ingredients until your mixture is stiff and has the consistency of Goose Gargle.<\/p>\n
Introduce the contents of this bowl into the pan of Wonder Custard<\/a>. Please don’t be alared if you start to see small sparks just above the pan, this is normal. If you don’t see the sparks you will have to start again, this time don’t use as many Warding Twigs.<\/p>\nLeave the pan for a week or two to prove. I like to leave it in a cold dark cupboard for this.
\nOnce the two weeks are over tip the mixture into an old plant pot and sprinkle with Twinckle Pepper and Shimmer Salt<\/a>.<\/p>\nCongratulations you have made Witch Wardle.
