The definition of Magic in the dictionary is: The art that purports to control or forecast natural events, effects or forces by invoking the supernatural.
In a rare quiet moment at Towersey festival a fellow by the name of Tom appeared by my side and began talking to me. He told me how much he liked the pictures and slowly the conversation moved onto the subject of Magic.
It was Christmas eve in the mountains of Finland and Tom and his family were holidaying and due to it being the day that the Finnish people celebrate Christmas, he was asked if he and his family would dine in another restaurant that night.
So off they went in their winter clothes through the drifting snow to the Restaurant.
When they arrived they all went inside to eat, with the exception of Tom, who stayed outside to look at the beautiful falling snow through the Pine and Birch trees.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw a light that seemed to get brighter and he could hear the faint tinkling of bells off in the distance. Then, to his absolute astonishment and delight he caught sight of something he will never ever forget.
A figure dressed in red held up a lantern as he trudged through the deep drifting snow guiding a reindeer. Only to disappear just as suddenly as he had appeared through the trees and the swirling snow. Surely this was a piece of Magic.
Tom then wandered off to enjoy the rest of the festival.
